Based on the primary source selection, what was Washington’s plan for improving conditions for blacks? What was DuBois’s?
What did these plans have in common? How were they different? Were they compatible? Why or why not?
Why was DuBois so critical of Washington? Were the criticisms valid? Why or why not?
