This assessment addresses the following course objective(s):

• Describe the application of labor laws due to court decisions.
• Describe the impact of diversity on the workplace.
• Describe negotiating techniques and how to overcome an impasse.
• Describe the way unions organize a workplace for representation while discussing what conduct around such campaigns is construed as an unfair labor practice.
• Define individual rights under a collective bargaining agreement and present procedures to resolve grievances.

Instructions

Prepare a presentation based on your research paper topic in part one of the final assessment. The presentation will be a summary and explanation of the information presented in the research paper.

During the presentation, you will want to ensure you are talking rather than reading from a script. You may use notes when you make your presentation, but you may not read from a fully written out text or from the research paper.

The presentation must be completed individually. For recording your presentation you have several options:

1. Use Screencast-o-matic (Links to an external site.) (Instructional Video Below)
2. Record a slide show with narration and slide timings (Links to an external site.) (Microsoft, 2020)
3. Any video recording system of your choice
4. Record video directly in the assignment submission using these instructions (Links to an external site.)
