The instructor shall discuss the Evolution of Risk Management as a professional discipline and the emergence of risk exposures to liability which in the past were considered cures to the challenges. This presentation shall address the following subjects: (a) business relationships between stakeholders; (b) changes and advancements occurring in biomedical technology; (c) the use of paraprofessionals to support primary care; (d) data storage and management issues; (e) the emergence of Enterprise Risk Management as an off-shoot to Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs). Following the presentation, each student will prepare a three page paper discussing the changes in relationships between various stakeholders and how this is impacting exposures to liability. The submission shall be spaced at 1.5 and shall employ a Times New Roman 12 point font.
