In the form of a poster, the independent project tells a story of Chinese immigrant/migrant who came to the U.S. after World War II. You are free to use your knowledge and imaginations to create fictional characters, but details of your stories are expected to be historically realistic.

Since the topic is about someone who came after WWII, please do indicate the person’s entry to the US such as: Chinese warbride arrived in 1947

If the person came as a student, then how he/she became a permanent resident or citizen should be discussed. Of course, if the person is undocumented, the struggle to survive could be different too.
