Yet in the United States, public attitudes toward interest groups seem to be very negative. Simply put, why do you think that interest groups in this country get such a bad rap? Is it just because they make campaign contributions? Are there any other explanations? And if people dislike them so much, how come no one seems to be trying to counter their power and impact?
